S.T.A.T. and A/B Day Conversion

Pikesville High has a S.T.A.T. Team comprised of the Technology Liaison, S.T.A.T. Teacher, Department Chairs, and Teachers from various departments who are collaborating to implement the new BCPS One system into Pikesville High instruction. In addition to visiting schools that currently operate on an A/B Day schedule, teachers also collaborated through the school year and attended system-wide professional development that helped prepare for the 2014-2015 school year.

The S.T.A.T. Team also works to support the staff as we transition to the A/B Day Schedule. The team researches effective practices, explores and practices various uses of the EliteBook device, and instructionally supports PHS Staff.

Please note that BCPS One replaces Edline. BCPS One is a key initiative that will provide a fully integrated system that brings together all of the district's programs and initiatives around student data, assessments, curriculum, instruction, reporting, and analysis into a single user-friendly platform. To read more about BCPS One, you can visit this BCPS site:

To view your student’s grades and information about your student’s classes, you can log on to BCPS One with information you receive at Freshman Orientation or Back to School Night. If you would like the information before Back to School Night, you can start logging on in late August 2014 by contacting the School Counseling Department at 410-887-1219.
